Facebook user, Alexis Mason, is outraged about the bullying her daughter has experienced at school in Lufkin, Texas.
Yesterday was her child’s first day back at school since Christmas break.
“I’m so sick of LISD!..I will not stand here and let her continued to be bullied. I Will Not Lose My Child To Suicide because other parents don’t teach their children how to be nice. My God, she’s 11…I am the wrong mama…The school’s not hearing me, but I won’t stop until they do,” the mother wrote on a Facebook post.
Mason stated that she and her husband discussed the issue with the 6th grade principal who said his options were limited. He said all he could really do was talk to the students who are accused of bullying her daughter and talk with their parents.
The principal added that he could put a no contact order in place but doesn’t know how effective it would be. This is because he said that, “They can’t follow kids around the school all day, making sure that they stay away from Emmaleigh.”
The mother concluded that the only option available to her is for her daughter to continue going to Lufkin Middle School, risking the chance of the behavior continuing.
Mason has noted that the girl involved has bullied other students, as well.
She adds that her daughter will start martial arts class on Monday, and boxing lessons are coming.
