A woman from Houston, 29-year-old Tierra Young, is being held in Dubai after going there for vacation. Her mother has reported that Young’s passport has been seized, and she has been charged with the offense of screaming in public. Now, her daughter could face prison time.
Young had been a passenger in a friend’s rental vehicle when they were involved in an accident in Dubai. When Young went bank to the car rental company to get her ID, credit card, and belongings, things went bad.
A man started to yell at her. Additionally, he stated that she could only get her things if she paid a certain amount of money. When Young yelled back, she was charged with screaming.
Young is in jail because in Dubai a female is not permitted to raise her voice. Young, a social media influencer and truck driver, has also been put on a travel ban until an investigation is complete. She does have a lawyer in Dubai, but Young could still face jail time because there is a recording of her screaming.
Although Young is originally from California, she and her mother reside in Katy, Texas.
Why would anyone go to Dubai??? Especially a woman. They don’t respect you there.

Those people are insane!! That young lady is a tourist NOT a resident. The men do not respect women over there! The United States is the only country that let outsiders in and let them do whatever they want and they not get held accountable for their actions. Other countries make you bide by their laws and will hold you accountable even if you aren’t aware of their laws! He can scream at her in public but she can’t?? Smh…I’m praying for she and her family!
