Authorities have apprehended three Dunkin Donuts workers after they were accused of threatening a customer at the drive-thru on Saturday, Dec. 9. The incident occurred in Northeast El Paso, police say.
19-year-old Elijah Garcia, 17-year-old Jesus Dominguez, and 20-year-old Luis Arturo were apprehended and are facing charges of aggravated assault.
Authorities also seized three firearms during the apprehensions.
At around 8:35 p.m., authorities were contacted about a disturbance regarding someone with a gun.
When authorities arrived to the Dunkin Donuts at 9114 Dyer, they found out that a 41-year-old man had entered the drive-thru with his girlfriend.
Police stated that the girlfriend attempted to order donuts, but stated that a worker was rude. When she had requested to talk to a manager, the worker on the intercom stated that he was the manager while using foul language.
Authorities said the woman drove in the direction of the drive-thru window when one worker walked from behind the store with two other workers walking out, too.
During this interaction, the three workers pulled out firearms, police reported.
They added that one of the three workers put a round in the chamber, pointed the firearm at the male patron, and stated, “Y’all gonna die.”
All three employees’ bonds were set at $100,000.
