Three men are in custody after they tried to steal several drills from a Lowe’s in Pearland, Texas. The incident occurred close to 2:20 p.m., on Tuesday, and involved suspects Quinton Harris and Treveon Wilson of Houston.

Police say that Harris and Wilson unlawfully broke into the DeWalt Tool Section Cabinet, by using bolts cutters, getting away with almost $7,000 worth of drills.

Afterwards, they attempted to leave the location in a car that was driven by Kashunte Johnson.

However, they didn’t get very far when Pearland Police Department Motorcycle Unit located their vehicle and started a chase that ended at a Hobby Lobby on Pearland Parkway.

Kashunte Johnson was taken into custody right away as Quinton Harris and Treveon Wilson were still sought after for the next 3 hours. Eventually, after the help of the Patrol, Drone team, K9 Units, Special Investigations Unit, Detectives, and Telecommunications Operators, Harris and Wilson were found and apprehended.

All three suspects are now being held at the Pearland jail. They have been charged with offenses related to the attempted theft.
