Two Minors Arrested In Forney Armed Robbery, Connected To Marijuana Sale

On February 23, 2024, one person was detained and another fled on foot, after officers in Forney answered to an armed robbery in the Fox and Jacob’s community which is located west of Pinson Rd.

Officers surrounded the area and sent out an alert with the suspect described as a Black male, wearing all black, who may be armed.

Although they believed that they had the suspect cornered at a home on the 900 block of Concord, he was still able to avoid being captured.

Finally, on February 24th, at about 3 a.m., the second suspect involved in the matter was located and taken into custody. Authorities in Kaufman County, Precinct 2, and Mesquite helped with the apprehension.

After investigating, detectives in Forney believe that all suspects involved in the robbery have been apprehended. It was also learned that the victims and suspects were familiar with each other before the incident happened.

Now, two unidentified minors have been charged with Aggravated Robbery and Evading Arrest or Detention.

Investigators determined that the occurrence was connected to a marijuana sale.
