After whooping someone else’s child, at a school in Tampa, Florida, a woman is facing charges.

Authorities say that Kady Ann Sewell, 33, beat a student with a belt at Bethel Seventh-Day Adventist private school, on Thursday. Sewell had beaten the victim for retaliating against her son who was said to be a bully.

Zendre Pollard stated that her 13-year-old son was the boy who was whopped with the belt. She said that her son was repeatedly bullied by Sewell’s son, and so he had decided to defend himself.

“He called and said someone was bullying him, fat-shaming him. He then picked up the child and dropped the child back down on his feet,” Pollard stated.

On Saturday morning, Sewell was apprehended. This came after she couldn’t be located at her residence or place of employment after the incident that had been recorded.

Documents note that the mother entered the school cafeteria and told the boy, “Stop f—— hitting my children.”

“The mom comes in fussing and cussing at my child and just beating him in the face! His head, his face, his arms,” Pollard added. The boy suffered a busted lip as a result.

Pollard added that she has pressed charges against Sewell, whom she had already known. She says that her son has a history of seizures, and the assault could have killed him.

In addition to that, the mother also wants the school to take some accountability. She wants to know how Sewell was allowed to get on the campus, beat her child, and then leave.

Sewell has been charged with child abuse without great bodily harm, educational interference, and trespassing within a school safety zone. Records show that she was held on a $6,000 bond.
