Authorities in Dallas have apprehended the person that they believe “pistol-whipped” a man on a DART train last week.
Kadejah Brown, 29, was taken into custody and charged with aggravated assault causing serious bodily injury.
On Tuesday afternoon, a video of the incident was released, showing an attack on the Red Line train at LBJ Station.
The recording reveals a man and a woman in a physical altercation with another man. The woman, thought to be Brown, struck the man with what is thought to a gun.
In the video, the man is observed with blood all over his head.
Authorities with DART stated that the victim was transported to Presbyterian Hospital with non-life threatening wounds.
Right now, authorities haven’t given a motive for the attack.
Brown is currently in the Dallas County Jail on a $35,000 bond.
So far this year, there have been 120 cases of robberies, sexual assaults, and aggravated assault offenses on DART.
