Woman Asked To Wait Outside A Cedar Hill Restaurant By Owner Due To Wearing Inappropriate Clothing
A young woman is upset after she went to a restaurant in Cedar Hill Wednesday afternoon and was asked to wait outside due to her clothing being inappropriate.
A woman went to Fluffys Chicken located at 635 Pleasant Run Road. When she walked in she said she could feel someone starring at her. While ordering the customer says she heard the owner say “next time you come in here have some clothes on”.
The girl was dressed comfortably for the heat wearing a tee shirt, spandex shorts, a bonnet and some crocs.
She told the owner yes mam and while waiting on her order an employee told her she could wait inside. The owner then proceeded to tell her to wait outside and they will bring her food to her when it is done.
After that incident the customer asked for a refund and said she would never go back due to poor customer service.
Fluffys later took to Facebook and released a statement saying, “Fluffy’s Chicken is going viral on Facebook!! Based on my decision to tell a young lady next time she come in put some clothes on. The young lady had on men underwear pulled up in her private area with her bottom cheeks hanging out with a hair bonnet on in a public place.
I have Rights to refuse any customer. She ordered then got mad about what I said then went on Facebook to bash my restaurant. I knew what was going to happen because this is what people do now.
I SAID WHAT I SAID! I don’t wanna see your bottom cheeks out. It’s ridiculous how ladies carry themselves in public. I have seen this so many times before on social media. I don’t think I was wrong about it.”

Yes there’s something wrong with what she was wearing….I think people women should have more respect for themselves. I think women who dress like this in public don’t get much attention anytime ever in their lives. It’s so sad.

You have a right to refuse service to anyone not dressed appropriately. But to ask her to go outside is very unprofessional and hurtful. We have to watch how we treat one another. You embarrassed this young lady and it can make feel insecure. We are builders not attackers or degraders.

In this Texas heat where people are heat stroke you could have handled the incident much better. Try talking to the person like a teacher if we’re you or your loved one.
Why are people defending this girl? I don’t get it. Why are women that have no shape, cellulite and lumps everywhere wearing their clothes so short. This is so embarrassing.
Sadly I see a lot of young ladies walking around with all their cellulite out and frankly mostly non of them have the body to be dressing in short shorts…they all look horrible. But for reasons they seem to think they look good. But they’re sadly mistaking.

Good for the owner or manager. I see nothing wrong with asking her to wait outside. There are a lot of places that ask you to wait outside and they will bring out the food… however I would NOT like to see a persons butt cheek hanging out if I am trying to eat! With all these kids wearing hoodies on their heads when it’s 💯 degrees outside…. dressing like this has nothing to do with the heat…it has to do with lack of attention..when you’re confident and have a nice body you don’t have to reveal all your goodies.
You can’t sue a business (and win) for refusing service. That Colorado cake case went to the Supreme Court and the business owner prevailed.
They have the right to refuse service to anyone. It’s a private establishment. No one wants to see your ass. Grow up..

Absolutely nothing wrong with how you run your business or how you feel so why take her money and that is the problem I have. If you didnt want her in your establishment then you didnt want her money.
If you didn’t want her in your place of business. Why not ask her to leave before you took her money. What’s she was wearing didn’t bother you before you took her order. It only became a problem after you done took her money.

In the first part its says spandex and crocs. The owner/manager stated men underwear puller into her private with butt cheeks hanging out. Honestly we have to do better all around. Undergarments are just that. We have lost all self respect. The owner asked her to put some clothes on. Then asked her to wait outside which im sure we are missing something. The young lady recieved her money back and that should have been that.

I wonder if the owner would have said and treated a male customer the same if he came in with his pants around his knees with underwear showing? Overall I agree with the owner, but not the waiting outside. But I have to point out this is another case of women being treated unequal to male counterparts.

Not everyone wants to see cheeks when they are out in a restaurant or shopping. A bag on her head and men underwear should have been worn in the comfort of her home. I’m looking at the photo posted with the article. I have to think many of these negative comments are from persons who didn’t benefit from seeing the photo. I dont see her shorts pulled up, no butt cheeks hanging. I see nothing wrong with her attire. The business has the right but in this case, perhaps not the reason. It depends IF that is the actual photo.
I personally will not patronize a business if I’ve seen unjust treatment especially racism. I’m white, but I understand the need for black men or women wearing those caps. It’s a time consuming process fixing kinky hair…often times a cap makes more sense when running out for some fast food chicken. Had it been Outback, Chili’s, Olive Garden etc.. I’m confident the same gal would have dressed up and been Rockin’ her outfit and hair.
