Dallas police have charged a woman in connection with the death of a 3 year old.
The incident occurred on March 28, when officers received a call regarding a 3 year old being brought to a hospital with a gunshot wound to the face.
The woman who brought the toddler in told police she was involved in a road rage incident near Whitehurst and Arbor Park.
She described the vehicle as a dark colored 4 door sedan with paper tags.
After thorough investigation, officers say they have not found any evidence supporting the woman’s claim of road rage.
On March 30, officers arrested 26 year old Lacravivonne Washington on outstanding warrants.
While in custody officers questioned Washington about the 3 year olds death but she refused to speak.
Washington was transported to Dallas County Jail for outstanding warrants and was also charged with endangering a child. Her bond is set at $25,000.
