A woman was fatally shot Monday night during a road rage incident in Hurst, Texas.
Officers were called to the 1400 block of West Hurst Blvd around 9:18 p.m., in regards to a woman being shot in the head.
Upon arrival they learned that a 37 year old woman was riding in the car with her husband northbound on East Loop 820 when they were involved in a road rage situation.
Apparently someone in another vehicle fired multiple rounds at their vehicle striking the woman in the head.
Emergency crews arrived and transported the woman to JPS where she later died.
The suspects vehicle was described as a dark colored, small older modeled car.
