A woman robbed a downtown Jacksonville Regions bank in an electric wheelchair Monday afternoon.
According to reports Kenyeitta La-Key Gordon,39 went into a Regions bank at 51 W. Bay St in a wheelchair wearing a black and silver COVID-19 mask, covered in a red blanket with blonde hair.
The woman took care of some banking business and then asked to withdraw some money.
When the teller told her she couldn’t perform that type of transaction she became upset, started cursing and yelling saying this is a robbery and demanding money.
The teller gave Gordon the money and she fled the bank.
Officers later arrested Gordon about a mile from the bank.
She was charged with strong arm robbery and possession of drug paraphernalia.
