Garland police are investigating after a man was shot and killed during an altercation at a party early Sunday morning.
Officers responded to the shooting call, shortly after 2 a.m., on the 4900 block of Captains Place.
Upon arriving they located the victim, 20 year old Drevon Bowman, suffering from an apparent gunshot wound. He was transported to an area hospital where he later died from his injuries.
At this time authorities have made no arrest and have no suspect details. They are working to determine what led up the fatal shooting and hopefully identify the suspect(s).
This investigation is ongoing.
