Two California adoptive parents have been arrested and charged with two young brothers death.

Trezell and Jacqueline West, the boys adoptive parents, reported Orrin,4 and Orson,3 missing from their backyard on December 21,2020.

Police launched a search, which was later joined by the FBI, California Highway Patrol, a Kern County sheriff’s search and rescue team.

The search expanded 60 miles from where the two boys were living.

Although the boys have not been found police have new evidence linking the adoptive parents.

On Tuesday a grand jury indicted the couple on two counts of murder, two counts of felony child abuse and one count of filing a false report of an emergency.

They are both being held without bail.
