Authorities Seize $25,000 Worth Of Cocaine In Raid

On Wednesday, Rutherford County, Tennessee, sheriff’s narcotics detectives performed a search warrant on Rocky Lane, close to Old Lascassas Road.

The detectives seized nearly $25,000 worth of cocaine.

“While searching the residences, detectives located approximately 1.2 pounds of cocaine, several sets of digital scales, a small amount of marijuana, crack pipes, $2,237 in cash, and firearms,” a sergeant stated.

Chike Collier, Carlos Elder, Debra Brooks, Shane Johnson, and Charles Tigg were apprehended.

They face charges of manufacturing, delivering, selling, and/or possessing a schedule II narcotic (cocaine).

Tigg received an added charge of maintaining a dwelling for the purpose of manufacturing/selling narcotics.

More charges may come as the investigation continues.

The suspects were all being held at the Rutherford County Adult Detention Center. A hearing in the General Sessions Court is expected on May 25.
