Xenopher Jenkins, 23, is suspected of being involved in a shooting in Dallas. He has now been arrested in Wichita Falls, Texas.
The Dallas Police Department and Wichita Falls special operations unit collaborated together to locate him.
Officials had staked out a residence and saw Jenkins inside the back of a car. Authorities pulled over the vehicle and recognized him as the person they were looking for although he didn’t give them his correct name.
A weapon was also discovered in the car.
Jenkins faces aggravated assault charges after an incident on October 20, in Dallas. He also has forgery charges, stemming from Collin County and failure to identify himself and giving the wrong information to WFPD.
His bond was set at $519,005.
