A worker at a restaurant in Arlington, Texas, was killed right in front of her place of employment.
Authorities say that a man trailed behind her, robbed her, and then ran over her with his car.
At around 10 a.m., on Friday morning, someone contacted authorities, stating that a woman had been tussling with a man near Pho Son Nam Vietnamese Restaurant. When authorities arrived on the scene, they located a 56-year-old woman who was deceased on the ground.
Police think that the woman was robbed and that she fell as she attempted to break away from the unknown suspect. They added that the man had struck the unidentified woman as he drove away.
Investigators later learned that the woman had arrived at work after going to a bank. They think that the unknown suspect could have possibly followed her from there.
Police say that it seems as though the attacker had taken some of the woman’s belongings, as well.
As of now, there is no description of the man or the man’s car. Authorities are asking anyone with information to contact them.
