Black News Channel Shuts Down, Files for Bankruptcy

1.1kviews

Black News Channel will be shutting down just two years after it was first launched.

The channel is filing for bankruptcy and will no longer broadcast live T.V.

Chief Executive, Princell Hair, claims they have experienced the negative effects of workforce reduction.

“This has forced all of you to do more with less, and your contributions have been remarkable. Unfortunately, due to challenging market conditions and global financial pressures, we have been unable to meet our financial goals, and the timeline afforded to us has run out,” Hair explained.

Employees were not informed of BNC shutting down until the last day the channel broadcasted live. They also claim that their regularly scheduled direct deposit was never sent out. They were left wondering if they would ever get paid.

There are also reports from vendors who say the channel still owes them money as well.
