Boating While Intoxicated With Children Onboard Becomes Felony

761views

A new law goes into effect on September 1st that makes boating while intoxicated with a child younger than 15 onboard a felony.

Currently a class B misdemeanor, the charge will become a felony and punishable by 6 months to 2 years in state prison and a fine up to $10,000.

The new House Bill 1163 had been called for by Texas Parks and Wildlife game wardens who say there’s been an increase in watercraft accidents.

According to statistics, alcohol is the most common factor in all boating accidents.

  1. Whats up this is kinda of off topic but I was wanting to know
if blogs use WYSIWYG editors or if you have to manually code with HTML.
I’m starting a blog soon but have no coding experience so I wanted to get guidance from someone
with experience. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
