A man residing in McKinney, Texas, Beau Rosen, 35, has been arrested. The Collin County Sheriff’s department has charged him with the online solicitation of a minor.
An incident occurred on March 2, 2022, close to 12:58 p.m. Rosen started talking to an undercover investigator who was pretending to be a 15-year-old girl.
Authorities say that Rosen stated many times that he wanted to meet with the young girl. He also let her know that he wanted to have sexual relations with her within 20 minutes of their conversation.
He questioned the girl multiple times, wanting to confirm that she was 15. He then informed her that he wanted to meet up that same afternoon.
It only took 57 minutes from their initial text messages until Rosen arrived to the meet up spot.
When he got to a local park, Rosen was taken into custody by deputies.
Rosen is now being held in the Collin County Detention Center.
