Teacher Caught On Camera Slapping Student Across The Face

2.6kviews

Michael Hosinski, a 61-year-old teacher from Indiana, has been arrested after camera footage showed him slapping a student in the face last week. He has been charged with battery. It is a preliminary level 6 felony, and a request for formal charges has been turned in.

The incident occurred on February 25 in the hallway at Jimtown High School. Reports say that the teacher approached the student about a hoodie that he was wearing. They exchanged words before the student was struck in the face.

The school district stated that the student “suffered visible injuries.”

The video recording shows Hosinski pulling the student by his backpack and forcing him against the wall before he was hit.

It seems as though the unidentified student’s head hit the wall as a result of the slap. Seconds later, he collapsed to the floor.

Hosinski no longer works at Baugo Community Schools and isn’t permitted to be on the school’s campus.

It was noted that the school board granted Hosinski early retirement and his full pension.
