Ella Grace and Eliza Faith Fuller are finally at home following four months of being in the neonatal intensive care unit. They also endured a six-hour surgery at Texas Children’s Hospital in Houston.

During Sandy Fuller’s second trimester, she and her husband found out that their twins were conjoined as she had a regular ultrasound performed.

Later, once the twins were born, they were led to Texas Children’s Hospital because they are one of few medical facilities in the U.S. that can do the separation.

On March 1, the girls were born and were attached at the abdomen and had the same liver tissue. They were delivered at 35 weeks, and both weighed five pounds and 10 ounces each.

After spending three months in the NICU, surgery was performed on June 14 to separate them. It took seven surgeons, four anesthesiologists, four surgical nurses, and two surgical technicians to get the job done.

They have made significant progress since then and are at home with their parents and big sister.
