The Oklahoma City Police Department has located the man and woman who went into a pet store and killed several animals on July 14.

Authorities say at around 3:30 p.m., the couple entered the Petland store and requested to see a puppy. After playing with the puppy briefly, the male walked off towards the bird enclosure.

Surveillance footage shows the man reaching into the cage and allegedly breaking the neck of a parakeet. He then headed towards the bunnies and allegedly grabbed a bunny inside its enclosure and held it down until it stopped moving.

The assistant manager noticed the dead animals and began reviewing the store’s security footage. Two other animals, a hamster and a Guinea pig, were taken out of the store.

According to police, the hamster was stomped to death outside in the parking lot, while the Guinea Pig is still missing.

Following an investigation into the matter, the Oklahoma City Police Department made a Facebook post, seeking tips from the public. Officials say they received dozens of tips which ultimately led to the location of the duo.

Their identities will not be released until charges have been filed.
