On Tuesday, July 25, Dallas police responded to a shooting call on the 1200 block of E. Illinois Avenue around 11:24 p.m.
Upon arrival they found a man unresponsive with a gunshot wound. He was transported to a local hospital where he died from his injuries.
At this time officers have no suspect and are working to determine what led up to the fatal shooting.
