Rowlett police are investigating after a body was discovered floating in Lake Ray Hubbard Tuesday morning.
Officers responded to a call regarding a body floating in the water near the 1300 block of Rowlett Road shortly after 8 am. The body was recovered by the Rowlett Fire Department dive rescue team.
Rowlett PD released the body to the Dallas Medical Examiners and were unable to identify the victim due to decomposition.
Rowlett PD are waiting on the Dallas Medical Examiners to identify the body.
This investigation is ongoing and will be updated as it evolves.
