Miss USA 2019, Cheslie Kryst, is dead after a Sunday morning fall from her high-rise home in New York City.
NYPD responded to a 911 call at 7:13 AM to the apartment building where Kryst lived. Officers and paramedics arrived, however, she was pronounced dead on the scene. Police are still investigating, but they believe Kryst jumped from high up in the building.
Kryst lived on the 9th floor but was last seen on the 29th floor before the incident.
Hours before Kryst died, she posted a photo of herself on Instagram with the caption, “May this day bring you rest and peace.” She also reportedly left a note Sunday morning, stating she was leaving all her belongings to her mother.
Cheslie Kryst was just 30 years old.
