A New Jersey man who plunged nine stories and landed on a BMW was finally released from the hospital.
The 31-year-old man who smashed through the roof of a black BMW 330i when he jumped, had been in critical condition since the incident on October 6, 2021.
The man suffered a mangled arm, internal injuries and bloody gashes on his head. He was released from the hospital after two months of treatment.
According to witnesses, after the fall the man appeared to be badly injured but was still talking and briefly walking. He stood up with his right arm dangling at his side and asked, “What happened?”
Video footage shows the jumper, who said he “wanted to die”, screaming in pain with upper body injuries, and a face mask strap still dangling from his ear.
