Frisco Teen Charged With Aiding in Suicide of His Girlfriend

A Frisco teenager was arrested for assisting in the suicide of his 17-year-old girlfriend who was found in a small body of water at a public park.

18-year-old Zander Tashman is charged with Aiding Suicide.

On November 20, 2023, Frisco Police responded to Frisco Commons Park on McKinney Road where they discovered the body of a 17-year-old girl in the pond.

Following a thorough investigation, authorities concluded that Tashman assisted his girlfriend in taking her own life. A warrant was obtained for his arrest and he was subsequently taken into custody on Sunday.

Tashman’s bond was set at $10,000.
