Gun Goes Off During Tussle As A North Dallas Beauty Supply Owner Approaches Woman Allegedly Stealing Eyelashes
A woman is behind bars after she attempted to rob a beauty supply store in North Dallas.
The incident occurred at the Hair Plus Beauty Supply off Forest Lane.
The owner, Sunjung Kim, said his store surveillance captured him stopping an attempted robber from stealing from his store.
When he went to confront the woman about the stolen items she started yelling and attempted to run away.
The woman is seen repeatedly asking ‘20 for what?’ to Kim. Kim then responds for the lashes and glue.
After that Kim tries to take the items from the woman and she punches him and says ‘if you hit me I’ll shoot you’, before pulling out a handgun.
The handgun then went off as the two tussled on the floor. Kim was able to detain the woman while another employee got the gun until police arrived.
The woman was arrested and charged with first degree armed robbery. She is being held on a $75,000 bond.
