1kviews

2 robbery suspects were shot dead after following a business owner from the bank on Wednesday.

Houston police were dispatched to Ruiz Cash & Carry Co. at 11:11 a.m. for reports of a shooting. When officers arrived, they found two men suffering apparent gunshot wounds. They were both pronounced deceased at the scene.

The business owner told authorities that he was returning from the bank and exited his vehicle to walk inside the store. At this time, two suspects wearing masks and gloves threw something at his head. The owner, who was lawfully carrying, drew his weapon and fired at the suspects. One man was struck in the parking lot.

An employee inside the store witnessed what was happening and grabbed a firearm, shooting the second suspect.

Houston Police say there was a third suspect at the scene who fled in a black Lincoln Navigator. Authorities are now searching for that third suspect.

No charges are expected to be filed against the business owner or the employee.
