Jimmy John’s Workers Fired Then Arrested For Spitting in Sandwich and Posting on Snapchat

Two Georgia Jimmy John’s employees were fired and subsequently arrested after a video surfaced showing them spitting on a sandwich.

On July 12, Katelyn Phillips and Lainey Blanchard, employees at the same Tifton Jimmy John’s location, arrived at the store a little early for their shift.

They asked their co-workers to make them a sandwich before their shift started and that’s when the video was made.

The two girls who were making the sandwich recorded them both spitting in it and posted it on Snapchat. The caption read, “for Katie & Lainey lt3”. They also posted a follow-up video of the girls eating the sandwich.

The victims, however, did not know there was anything wrong with their sandwich until about a week later.

Phillips and Blanchard say the incident stems from an unspoken drama between the two groups of friends.

The suspects were both fired and on Friday they were arrested. They’re charged with two counts of reckless conduct for causing harm or endangering bodily safety.

  1. THIS is why I am paranoid about all restaurants and haviñg food delivered. Today, people are heartless and childish. They are definitely on some other 🐂💩.

  2. Write more, thats all I have to say. Literally,
it seems as though you relied on the video to make your point.

You obviously know what youre talking about, why waste your intelligence on just posting videos to your site when you could be giving
    us something informative to read?
