A man was arrested and is facing federal charges after masturbating multiple times during a flight on Southwest Airlines.
According to reports, Antonio Sherrodd McGarity was arrested Saturday, at Sky Harbor International Airport in Phoenix, after traveling on flight 3814.
Apparently, while on the 3 hour flight McGarity was sitting in seat 11F next to a female in 11E. Once the flight took off he allegedly asked the woman if she minded him pleasuring himself.
He then said the woman threw her hands in the air and said, “it doesn’t matter”.
Immediately after he pulled down his pants and pulled out his penis. He began to pleasure himself multiple times throughout the flight until he fell asleep.
Once McGarity was sleep the female passenger took pictures and grabbed a flight attendants attention.
The flight attendant moved the female passenger to another seat for the remainder of the flight.
Officers were notified and met McGarity and the female passenger at the airport when they landed.
Mcagarity admitted to pleasuring himself during the flight to FBI. He was arrested and is facing charges for lewd, indecent or obscene acts on an aircraft.
He faces up to 90 days in prison and/or a $500 fine.
Southwest Airlines has also placed McGarity on their No Fly list for a lifetime.
