22-year-old Monte Henderson is accused of driving through a red light and killing a mother and her daughter after they had left a Drake concert in Missouri.

On Friday morning, he was released from jail after posting a $20,000 bond.

Authorities say that Henderson was apprehended on two counts of first-degree involuntary manslaughter charges and two counts of armed criminal action in the deaths of Laticha “Lety” Bracero, 42, and Alyssa Cordova, 21, of Chicago, Illinois.

Documents state that Henderson was driving a Jeep Grand Cherokee in downtown St. Louis on Feb. 14 when he blew through a red light and slammed into the women as they were crossing over the street.

The incident was captured on surveillance footage and depicted the Jeep traveling at a high rate of speed through an intersection prior to hitting another vehicle and striking the women.

Information taken from the Jeep Cherokee showed that it was going over 70 mph before going through the red light.

A GoFundMe account put into place by Bracero’s and Cordova’s relatives states that the mother and daughter normally went to concerts together and were at a Drake concert right before getting killed.

Henderson is expected to appear in court on Tuesday.
