Mickael Gedlu was sentenced to eighteen months in federal prison for threatening to assassinate President Trump when he comes to Dallas.
“I am waiting for Trump to visit Dallas before I attempt to assassinate him” were statements made across social media by Mickeal Gedlu. This was one of the convincing evidence used on trail for Gedlu to sentence him.
May 31, 2018 Geldu was said to be across the street from Dallas’ Adolphus Hotel just thirty minutes before President Trump arrived for a fundraiser. As Gedlu was holding a “kill Trump” sign and shouting “kill the President”, he was immediately detained by the Dallas Police.
He pleaded guilty while on trail.
