When a 22-year-old man opened fire at the Texas State Fair last Saturday injuring three innocent victims, thousands of people were forced to evacuate.
After the panic settled, many attendees were left feeling at a loss in more ways than one and wondered if there would be some sort of compensation.
The State Fair has now launched an Online Portal in which those forced to evacuate can request a refund or a replacement ticket.
“We deeply apologize for your experience on Saturday, October 14, at the 2023 State Fair of Texas. Please fill out the form below for admission ticket refunds or replacement requests.” The website states.
You can simply submit the form to receive a replacement admission ticket to be used by Sunday, October 22. You may also further request a ticket for next year rather than this year if need be.
If you’d like to receive your refund there are step-by-step instructions to follow. You’ll need to submit your admission ticket order number, a copy of your receipt, or a picture of the completed receipt from that day.
