On Thursday afternoon, an incident occurred in San Antonio, Texas, where a 13-year-old boy was mauled by multiple pit bulls. He is now recovering in a hospital and has been listed in stable condition.
At close to 1:30 p.m., deputies received a call regarding a dog bite. When they arrived on the scene, they found the teen who was not moving.
The teen suffered bites from two to six pit bulls. There were six pit bulls found in the residence, in total, but it isn’t clear how many were a part of the attack.
One deputy on scene had been trained and had specialized tools on hand. He was able to stabilize the teen.
Reports note that the teen suffered more than 50 puncture wounds, including chunks of flesh missing from his back and face.
Now, the teen is expected to recover from his injuries, and all six dogs have been removed from the home.
When the attack happened, the boy had been left home with his grandparent.
It isn’t known if criminal charges will be filed in the matter. Additionally, the owner gave up two of the dogs, and the others will be under a 10-day supervision.
Why is it always pittbulls? Because MOSTLY the least mentally equipped people (read: STUPID) get the most potentially dangerous dogs and have no clue how to train or
I have a single pitbull! Shes been hand raised with nothing but love and attention. I’m Not stupid for having a pitbull.. ignorant people cross boundaries they shouldnt.. the dog isn’t dangerous its the brain of the dumbass who owns the dog.. and 6 pitbulls is to many in one place..
