Two white men have been arrested and charged after a black FedEx driver says they shot at his delivery truck.

On January 24 D’Monterrio Gibson,24 said he was delivering packages in Brookhaven, Ms when he noticed a white truck following him.

Gibson said, “In my mind, I’m thinking (the driver) is leaving to go to the store or something like that, but then they get extremely close to me and start blowing their horn. I proceed to leave the driveway. As I’m leaving the driveway, he starts driving in the grass trying to cut me off. My instincts kick in, I swerve around him, and I start hitting the gas trying to get out of the neighborhood because I don’t know what his intentions are.”

He says after that he noticed a man standing in the roadway a few houses down pointing a gun at his window yelling at him.

Gibson says as he swerved from hitting the man that multiple shots were fired at the vehicle.

He contacted police who told him that they received a call about a suspicious person being at the address. Gibson told authorities he was a FedEx driver and just doing his job.

Once he made it back to his job he informed his manager about what happened and a police report was made.

After thorough investigation the suspects were identified as Gregory and Brandon Case.

On February 1 the two men were arrested and the father was charged with one count of conspiracy assault, and the son was charged with one count of aggravated assault. The cases were released on $75,000 and $150,000 bonds.

Gibson has since retained an attorney that feels both suspects have been “undercharged” and should be facing charges of attempted murder for their actions.
