Police say that a 29-year-old woman, in Harris County, Texas, was apprehended after $2 million worth of crystal meth was found in her home on Friday.

Authorities went to the woman’s residence because she had called them, stating that she was under the influence and couldn’t manage handling her 2-year-old son.

After police went inside of the home, they saw that the woman was cooking meth.  HPD’s High Hazard drug lab unit came to the location and said the home was operating as a crystal meth lab.

Officers could be seen wearing hazmat suits and using oxygen tanks so that they could go in the home safely.

Recovered in the home were 112 kilograms of crystallized meth and 87.2 kilograms of liquid meth, worth close to $2 million.

The woman and the child were transported to a hospital. Afterwards, the child was placed with Child Protective Services.

The woman now faces federal charges.
