Lansing Police have confirmed that the body of missing 2 year old, Wynter Cole Smith, has been found deceased.
According to police Smith was abducted by her mothers ex boyfriend, 26 year old Rashad Maleek Trice, on July 2 following a physical altercation. Trice allegedly stabbed the 22 year old woman, then stole her vehicle taking Smith with him.
The woman was transported to a local hospital where she was treated for her injuries and released.
Authorities issued an Amber Alert for Smith.
A few hours later police located Trice in St. Clair Shores after he crashed into a patrol car. He was arrested and charged with assault with intent to murder, first-degree criminal sexual conduct, first-degree home invasion, unlawful imprisonment, and aggravated domestic violence. He is being held without bond.
Although authorities did not find Smith inside the vehicle at the time of the crash. After intense searching for days they located her deceased body in Detroit around 7pm on the east side.
So sad i say death penalty no mercy for what he did
