Tenant Arrested For Stabbing Leasing Office Worker, Barricading Herself In Apartment For Several Hours
An unidentified woman was apprehended after a stabbing at an apartment complex that resulted in a three-hour standoff.
On Wednesday, close to 9:30 a.m., the incident occurred at the Sky at Salado Creek apartment, near Blanco Road and Wurzbach Parkway, in San Antonio.
Reports indicate that a female tenant had entered the leasing office and was waiting to speak with someone. Although she was carrying a knife, no one could see it.
The woman then suddenly attacked one of the employees with the knife. That victim was transported to a medical facility and was listed in critical condition.
Afterwards, the tenant rushed back to her apartment and held herself inside. Police and SWAT were eventually called to the location.
When the woman refused to come out for several hours, chemical agents had to be used which led her to come out to the balcony. She was then arrested.
The tenant was treated for multiple cuts on her body.
A motive for the stabbing is unknown at this time, and an investigation is continuing.
Your not safe anywhere, can’t even go to work without someone wanting to harm you. Over what not taken care of something, now you have to go to jail over some stupid stuff .
She was probably getting evicted or something. That was my first guess. I mean, what would make you go to the office where you are leasing from and just flip your shit like that, you know? I agree though, you can’t go NOWHERE these days. No place is safe from violence like this. Which is why we always need to let the ones we love, know just how much they mean to us before we lose that chance forever!
