Brother Sleeping With His Own Sister, Kills Her After Finding Out She Slept With Another Man
Jose Manuel Guzman, 32, is accused of killing his sister with whom he was sleeping with. Guzman is said to have committed the killing because he discovered that she had sex with someone else.
On February 1, the sister was killed in a Canutillo, Texas, residence that she resided in with Guzman. He beat her with a baseball bat and a massage device, the El Paso County district attorney said.
It is alleged that Guzman was upset after discovering his sister had spent time with a male friend earlier that evening. Reports say that Guzman attempted to clean up the blood with a mop and left the scene when he heard police arriving.
The man was later arrested, charged with murder, and is being held in custody on a $1 million bond.
Prosecutors disclosed that Guzman is a legal US resident but is from Guatemala. He has resided in El Paso since he was 3-years-old. Just recently he discovered that he had a sister in Guatemala. When they met each other, their sexual relationship started.
In a confession video, Guzman admitted to the killing and smoking meth and marijuana daily.
