The Derrick Henry time period in Tennessee is probably over, and the Titans have found someone to replace him in ex-Dallas cowboys running back Tony Pollard.
Last season, Pollard played on the $10.1 million franchise tag; thus, the new contract symbolizes a pay cut on a yearly basis, but may bring him more in regards to secured money, $24 million for 3 years. Although he eventually played a little while later, the season still ended with the worst per touch numbers of his career.
There is also much difference between Pollard and Henry. Pollard is 6-foot, 209 pounds, compared to Henry who is 6-3, 247 pounds. He is a far better pass- catcher, making at least 37 grabs in each one of the last three seasons, including 51 last year.
