Remains from a woman reported missing back in January of 2006 has been identified by Fort Worth police.
On March 2, 2023 Fort Worth police responded to a call on the 900 block of S. Hughes Avenue and found human remains.
Tarrant County Medical Examiners notified police on June 28 that the remains were identified as Taalibah Fatin Bint Islam.
According to police, a former boyfriend of Islam, Christopher Revill, reportedly reported her missing but was later arrested in 2016 and sentenced to life for kidnapping and his ex girlfriend Typhenie Johnson.
As of now authorities have no evidence linking him to Islam’s death.
This investigation is ongoing.
