Shooting At Texas Flea Market Leaves One Child Dead

After a shooting took place in Pearland, Texas, on Sunday, authorities were sent to the scene.

At about 5:34 p.m., officers arrived at Cole’s Flea Market at 1014 North Main in regards to shots fired.

Five people were discovered with gunshot injuries which included three adults and two minors. All of them were transported to a medical facility, but one of the children died from their wounds.

Authorities say that the first reports that they received were that the shooting started after a dispute between two people and later led to gunfire. The flea market wasn’t the intended target.

No one has been apprehended, but detectives are working to determine if one or two people had guns.

An investigation is on-going.
