Close to 9:45 a.m., on June 22, several emergency responders were called out to a wreck at the intersection of County Road 543 and County Road 593, in Nevada, Texas.
Reports indicate that a van was going eastbound on County Road 543 and a SUV was going northbound on County Road 593. The driver of the SUV hadn’t stopped at a stop sign where the two roads meet, resulting in a wreck. It then caused the van to spin around, hitting two construction workers.
A 35-year-old man from Dallas, one of the construction workers, died at the location. A passenger in the SUV, a 66-year-old woman, died, as well.
The driver of the SUV and the driver of the van were taken to a medical facility.
